Desert rapids

I'm grateful for two things about this day:

  1. That our Subaru Forester made it across this creek
  2. That I witnessed gravity and water move rocks in the middle of the desert. The next time I cross a dry wash—rocks emdedded in sand, stones wedged between the rocks—I'll think of this day.
